It gives you total flexibility to visit places like El Yunque Rainforest, Rinc\u00f3n, or Ponce at your own pace, without relying on expensive rides or limited public transport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-theme-palette-8-background-color has-background\"><strong>Tip ::<\/strong> <em>San Juan has heavy traffic and limited parking, so if you&#8217;re staying in the city, you might not need a car every day.<\/em>  <em>Be sure to ask about parking at your hotel in advance.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-taxi-in-san-juan\">Taxi in San Juan<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Taxis are widely available in areas like Condado, <a href=\"https:\/\/maps.app.goo.gl\/2jvNFiNd9Ykd5hjb7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Isla Verde<\/a>, and Old San Juan. Unlike Uber, they operate on fixed rates rather than metered fares, so always confirm the price before starting your ride.
